A billiard table shop which became a bookshop?
Does any reader remember the following story?
About 30 years ago a shop in Melbourne, Australia which sold billiard tables got in trouble for opening illegally at weekends. They got around the law by becoming a bookshop instead. Their books were expensive - $1,100 each - but with each book purchased you got a free billiard table.

Sorry, i have never heard of that, but its good stuff..... reminds me of why george webb has two clocks one minute apart next to each other in every location, because they were not allowed to be open 24 hrs so they did that.
